Hello everyone,  I am Stacy, Ken’s daughter. I am an artist as well but more of a painter. I am here to offer the painter’s side of things and share some of the cool things I find online dealing with art and photography. You can find my work at www.theartofstacy.com  I have been painting/drawing for most of my life. My Dad has always been a big supporter and inspiration to me.

One technique that blends painting and photography is photo-manipulation. There are some truly awesome artists out there. I did a photo-manip for a college class and I hope to do more someday. This one was created using several different photos. The model, the wings, the sky and the building were all separate pieces. I used photoshop CS3 to blend and move around the photos to just the right placements. I then used a filter to give it all the nice warm glow of the sunset. A lot of other work went into this but it’s been two years since I made it so I can’t remember the details.
